National Broadband Network Coverage

Australia’s pending National Broadband Network (NBN) aims to bring 100Mb broadband speeds to 90% of the Australian population via a Fibre-to-the-Premise network, with the remaining 10% to be served 12Mb speeds via ADSL2+ and satellite connections.

I have put together this mini-site to serve as a reference point to information I come across, and my own postings in regards to the project. Being an active member of the Australian IT community, the issue of broadband access and access speeds is a subject very close to my heart – finally giving Australians the speeds that are enjoyed in other parts of the world will drive the success of our nation as the digital economy grows.

For RSS of my postings on the subject, go here, and for a feed of outside articles I place on this page, go here.
