By Stephen Cauchi

An off-duty police officer has lost his licence after being found drink-driving in Beaconsfield on Friday night.

The male Leading Senior Constable was intercepted at a random breath testing site on the Old Princes Highway site just after 8pm.

He recorded an alleged blood alcohol level of .077 per cent. He was issued a penalty notice which involves a fine of $433 and a loss of license for six months.
